Master Gunnery Sergeant Michael Arnett

Born in Panama City, Florida and joined the United States Marines in 1986. Completed boot camp at Parris Island, South Carolina and attended Military Occupational Speciality (MOS) School in 29 Palms, California, graduating an Aviation Communications Repairman. While attending MOS school Corporal Arnett married his home town bride Robin.
Upon completion of MOS training, Corporal Arnett travelled with Robin to their first duty station MTACC-28, at Marine Air Station Cherry Point, in Havelock, North Carolina. It Was there that both of Sergeant Arnett's two children were born and from there deployed to Desert Storm and Desert Shield. MGySgt Arnett has deployed to many locations and faraway lands. From the frozen arctic of Norway to the deserts of the Middle East. From the jungles of the Philippines and Thailand to the islands of the South Pacific.
MGySgt Arnett has risen through the ranks from a Marine Recruit standing on the yellow foot prints to a Master Gunnery Sergeant. Upon promotion to Master Gunnery Sergeant, Arnett received orders to their last duty station, MACS-2, Marine air Station Yuma, Arizona. It was there as Electronics Communication Maintenance S6 Chief that MGySgt Arnett retired from the Corps.
MGySgt Arnett has held many MOS's and duties while in the Corps such as Aviation Communication Repairman, MIcro-MIniature Soldering Technician, Electronics Communication Maintenance Technician Chief and Marine Squadron Electronics Communication Maintenance Chief.
MGySgt Arnettenjoys scuba diving, conchology, restoring and maintaining a 1966 mustang, marksmanship, and collecting and repairing old toy trains with his grandsons.
